CHRISTINE DELEON - SINGER/SONGWRITER

Songwriting for 30+ years has made for a collection of pleasing melodies and lyrics that tell stories, provoke thought, inspire laughter and sometimes just make you say "Yeah, I know what that's like."  A few of the songs even inspired a win at the 2008 NJ Songwriter Contest and were recognized as finalists in the 2015 Rose Garden Coffeehouse Performing Songwriter Competition.

Song examples:
"Born Too Late For The Great Folk Scare" (love of 1960s folk music)
"Quarter Past July" (changing of the seasons)
"Let The Rain Fall" (a nod to the classic song "Singing' In The Rain")
"December Twenty-One" (Mayan calendar scare of 2012)
"Tell Us Your History" (frustrations of a doctor visit)
"I Think Of You" (tear-jerking love song)
"This Town" (tale of city life)
